Seating & views at Haas Pavilion
Haas Pavilion is the 1933 Harmon Gym rebuilt from the inside out, reopening in fall 1999 with a new, taller bowl inside the old walls. It seats 11,858, and the last row is only 88 feet from the floor, so sightlines are tight everywhere. Student seating holds about 2,600, including roughly 900 courtside in The Bench. Nearly 2,000 club seats have chair backs, and there is no soundproofing, which keeps the old-gym noise.
Parking & tailgating at Haas Pavilion
Cal lists public, first-come parking for basketball at UC lots including the Lower Sproul Garage, Banway Lot and the Southwest and Northwest Crescent lots, which take cards only, no cash. ADA spaces are in the UC public lots. Off-campus options include the Center Street, Oxford and Telegraph-Channing garages. Transit is the easier choice: Downtown Berkeley BART is a short walk west of campus.
