Seating & views at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Cameron is a compact 1940 gym that seats 9,314, and nobody is far from the floor. Duke students get the lower sections right alongside the court, a block built for about 1,100 that can pack in 1,600 Cameron Crazies for big games, and they stand the whole night. Upper seats were painted Duke blue in 2009-10, and air conditioning arrived in 2002. Students camp in tents in Krzyzewskiville outside the building for access to marquee games like North Carolina.
Parking & tailgating at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Parking is on Duke's West Campus around the building. Iron Dukes donors park in the reserved Whitford, Card Gym and Public Policy lots with a displayed pass. For women's games, the Science Drive Garage is free for the public and opens two hours before tip, with accessible parking and golf cart shuttles from the Science Drive Visitor Lot. Duke Athletics posts a parking alert on goduke.com before men's games. Rideshare drop-off uses the Student Wellness Lot on Towerview Road.
