Seating & views at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
Built as a basketball-first fieldhouse rather than a hockey arena, so the bowl hugs the court and even upper seats feel close. Capacity is listed at about 17,274 for basketball. A $360 million renovation finished in 2022 replaced every seat, added the 67 Club and Hardwood Club plus two new court-level sideline clubs, refreshed the Courtside Club and suites, and opened the bowl to the concourses. A standing-room sky deck in the balcony gives upper-level fans a social space.
Parking & tailgating at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
The closest covered option is the Virginia Avenue Garage at the building's northeast corner, entered from Maryland Street, which links to the Fieldhouse by a third-floor covered skybridge. Denison manages several other downtown garages nearby, and the Pacers point fans to ParkWhiz for optional advance passes at select locations. The old attached garage was replaced by a sunken outdoor plaza during the renovation, so plan on parking a short walk away downtown.
